  St. Thomas More is more than a school! It is a community of families who care for each other and for their children. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) brings this community together in family-oriented events, as well as supporting the efforts of teachers and school staff to make St. Thomas More School an enriching environment for the students.
  
  The success of the PTO depends on each family contributing their time and their skills to support our students and our school. It is this involvement that allows the school to provide an excellent education while keeping tuition rates down.
  
  PTO Events include Newcomer Buddy Program, Back-to-School Dance, Grandparents' Day, Field Day, Used Uniform Sale, and so much more!
  
  The STM Parent-Teacher Organization meets the 1st Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:15 p.m. If you are interested in attending, please feel free to contact Diana Le via email: [email protected]

Biographies

Diana Le, President
My husband Joseph and I have been married for 12 years and are parents to Hudson (4th Grade) and Sophia (1st Grade). We joined STM in 2020 and have really enjoyed being a part of the community. In the past, I have served as PTO Secretary, Room Parent, Parent Coffee Event Chair and PTO Vice-President. We're looking forward to a great school year and to serving the parish-school community as PTO President!

Sarah Martin, Vice President
Hi! I am signing on as the newest Vice President of PTO! I’m wife to Jonny (14 years) and mom to Sophie (7th grade) and Teddy (5th grade). We’ve been at STM for 8 years, in which I have served as Room parent and secretary. I’m looking forward to an incredible year at STM and to supporting our parent/teacher community as we soar through the 23/24 school year

Hilary Sullivan, Secretary
Howdy! My name is Hilary Barelas Sullivan (STM Alum, Class of '93). My husband John and I have two children at STM, Joshua (4th grade) and Gabriella (PK4), plus 3 grown and launched kids. When not serving as chauffeurs for baseball, Cub Scouts, or ballet, John is a carpenter and I'm a nurse. In past years, I've served as an At-Large representative and as a Room Parent. Looking forward to being y'all's PTO Secretary for 2023-2024.

Alan Bern, Volunteer Coordinator
My family and I are excited to be starting our third year at St. Thomas More. My daughter Mackenzie will be in the sixth grade while my son Ethan will be going into the third grade. Previously, I have been active in the Dad’s Club as well as room parent. Mackenzie’s 5th grade class Scout families will recognize my wife Emily, who is the Popcorn Kernel for Scout Pack 99. We look forward to meeting many new families this year.

Abby Raetz, Events Coordinator
I grew up in Vermont, have been in Houston with my husband for 16 years and a member of STM Parish for over 10 years. Our 5 year old daughter is entering kindergarten @ STM. We live in the neighborhood and love the beach and outdoors!

Lana Trantham, Treasurer
Hi! I am serving as the PTO Treasurer for the 2023-2024 school year. Last year I was a Room Parent for Hayes' third grade classroom and I'm excited to embark on my first year as a Board Member. My husband, Shea and I moved our son Hayes to STM during the fall of 2020 (Covid) and have never looked back. Hayes will be in fourth grade this year and our younger son, Hudson, will be in second grade at Parker Elementary. I'm looking forward to a great year! Go Tigers!

Roni Kentner, Communications Coordinator
Hello everyone! I have been married to Tim for 11 years and have 2 daughters. This is our 7th year at STM where Kalla will be entering 4th Gr, and Quinn in 1st Gr. I have served as PAWS GLL for 2 yrs, Room Parent for 2 years, and PTO Events Coordinator for 2 years. The community we have here is so special. We truly are one big family who support and love each other. I pray for God's continued guidance and protection over us and looking forward to an AMAZING 2023-2024 school year!

Sammie Mansueto, At Large
Hi we are the Mansuetos! My Husband Marc and I have been married 11 years and are entering our 6th year at STM with our daughter Isabella (3rd). We absolutely love the community at Saint Thomas More and truly believe in the motto "Family of Families''. My prayer is that each family feels welcomed and that this is your home!

Aileen Valdez, At Large
Hello my name is Aileen (AJ). My husband Kevin and I have been married for 6 years. We are parents to Valentina (Pre-K 4) and Camila (2 years old). This is our second year at STM and have really appreciated the kind and welcoming community. This is my first year as a PTO member and Room Parent. I look forward to helping/serving the community and excited for this upcoming year!
